The phone application has been certified by Symbian as well as by Windows Mobile test teams and we are not aware of any negative impact on a device except of phone battery operation time.

GPS is no more necessary for using PhoneOnMap

It is not necessary to use solely a cell phone with integrated GPS in order to locate and track it now. As our system has started to use data acquired from GSM network, it is possible to locate any cell phone (with Symbian or Windows Mobile operating system) which uses this network. The only condition remains the cell phone's ability to transfer data files (mobile internet access). Due to the GSM technology (using network of Cell towers) it is necessary to keep on mind that position data received from GSM network will not be as accurate as data received through GPS.
