When first installing the PhoneOnMap application onto your telephone, you will be asked whether you want to hide
the application and run it in the background. This option is selected as standard.
This ensures that when minimised or when automatically run it is hidden in the background
and won’t even be seen in the Task Manager. The advantage of being hidden is that it will
not disturb you when working with the telephone. You will be able to see the application by
running it once more, which moves it back into the foreground, showing up in the Task Manager.
Method to set up ‘Hide application’:
- Press the ‘Select’ button and choose the ‘Set-up’ option
- Select the option ’Other’
- Then set up the ‘Hide on minimising’ option. Here there are two options:
- On – the application is hidden in the background
- Off – the application runs in standard mode and is visible in the background
- Confirm your selection with the ‘Change’ button
