Installation guide for Symbian

Open an internet browser in your phone and go to www.phoneonmap.com/download . After the web address opens, click on Symbian link. The installation file will automatically start to download to your phone.

You will be asked, if you want to install the PhoneOnMap application:

Click on Yes.

The application details (Name, Version, Provider, Size, Format, Type and Certificates) will appear:

Click on Continue.

You will be asked which location you want to save the application to in the phone. Please select the Phone memory:

The installation will start then. Please, wait for confirmation that the installation is complete.

After the installation is finished, find a folder which the application was saved to in your phone and open the application.

You will be asked to agree with PhoneOnMap Terms of Use.

Then enter any name of your phone, so that it could be identified on the map.

You will be asked to enter a user’s email registered in PhoneOnMap system. You will enable the user to track your phone this way.

After you have entered an email and a phone name, the following options will appear (you can change it later in Settings):

Do you want to set up automatic data access? Yes
Do you want to set up the application auto start after the phone is turned on? Yes
Select access point: Internet

The phone registration will start then: Registering, please wait…

Finally, a confirmation of the phone registration will appear: Registration successful. You can set up parameters of the application or you can switch it On right away.
